DONATIONS for raffle and auction: DUE SEPT. 28, 2012. Donations may be tax-deductible - consult your tax advisor. Attached is a donation request letter for your convenience. (Click here.) Donated items can be included in team baskets. Items with high retail value should be donated to the silent auction.
Raffle Items: Any new goods, services, or monetary donations would be greatly appreciated! Please ask the businesses that you visit and/or friends that own businesses. You may be surprised to see what others are willing to donate to support our kids!
Team Baskets: (Required) Each team will sponsor a basket (retailing at least $100) to be donated for the silent auction. Talk to your team-mates about a theme for your basket and start collecting new items to include in it! (Themes include family fun, movie time, slumber party, spa/pampering, tailgating/BBQ, water play, sports fun, coffee break, scrapbooking/sewing.)
Team Handmade/Art Project: (Recommended) Parent volunteers needed to include each team member in the making of an original piece of "art" (for example, canvas/wallhanging, handmade jewelry, patchwork quilt, painted/decorated soccer chair, etc...)
Live and Silent Auction: We especially need your assistance in obtaining donated items for our auction (for example, Kings tickets or other sporting events, theatre tickets, dinner for two or a group, memorabilia, collectibles, puppies, new cars, vacations/timeshares and services like car detailing, massage).
Monetary Donations: Any denomination would be greatly appreciated! Sponsors will be recognized at the dinner. Sponsors will be recognized based on amount donated as follows: World Cup Sponsors (over $2500), Platinum Circle ($1001-2500), Gold Circle ($501-1000), Silver Circle ($251-500), Bronze Circle ($101-250), Patron ($51-100) and Friends ($1-50).
Please submit all donations, baskets and projects by September 28, 2012 for acknowledgement in the event brochure.

Pasta Feed Team Captain: One person from each team needed. Responsibilities: liaison between planning committee and team, put together and submit team raffle basket, distribute event tickets as needed.
Procurement team member(s): Anyone interested in requesting donations from businesses/friends needed. Please contact Cathy Young (clanyoungsoccer@gmail.com or text/call 916-812-8902).
Team Photographer: One person from each team needed. Responsibilities: take and collect photos of team members posed and in action (about 25 photos) and submit to planning committee by 9/29/11 for inclusion in slideshow at event.
Parent Artist: One person from each team recommended for team handmade/art project. Responsibilities: plan and make an item to be auctioned at the event and submit to planning committee by 9/29/11 for acknowledgement in event brochure.
Event volunteers: Sign-ups for set-up/clean-up, decorating, raffle/drink ticket sales and other day of the event needs will be available as the event nears.
