About Capital Athletic Soccer Academy
Capital Athletic Soccer Academy (CASA) is a competitive soccer club for boys and girls in the Sacramento area. Our club is dedicated to teaching the skills and tactics of the game with the idea of developing a constructive style of play based on fluid possession and team orientation. We believe that the athletic development of our youngsters must contribute to the development of good character and citizenship.
Mission Statement
CASA is a youth development program that uses competitive soccer as its teaching medium. We strive to prepare our youngsters to play at the highest level of their ambition while pursuing the highest possible educational goals. We view soccer as part of our players’ overall education and a catalyst to the development of good study habits as well as tools for their overall life experiences.

The Coaching Program

The coaching program follows the “Best Practices for Coaching Soccer” guidelines of US Soccer

The club encourages and subsidizes the coaching staff to continuously upgrade their coaching licenses and continuing education

Effort is made to expose players to different coaching styles and personalities

Individual skill and tactical development are the focus of most of our training

The style of play is a constructive football played in a possession-oriented team game

Our teams play a recognizably constructive game of soccer based on skill and team play that emphasizes possession and eschews kick and rush football!
