The 98s took 3rd place in the Novato Tournament this last weekend.  They had a chance to win it by winning the last game, but after a great effort it was not meant to be.  Great Job 98s and thanks to all the guest players from the 99s and the 97s.  My favorite part of the tournament was the 2nd half of the first game.  The passing was fantastic.  We are all very proud of the girls!!

Even with the poor fields the girls still managed to make it into the consolation match.  The girls played hard and did a great job
to even the score after going down 1 0.  The game eventually went into a shoot out that went deep into the 10th round with Boca loosing  6 - 5.  Great Job Girls you played awesome all weekend. Thank you to Coach Melisssa and Coach Jeremy!!!!

The 98s ended the tournament as the 3rd place finishers. Great win in the consolation match. 5 - 0!!!! the passing was fun to watch all weekend. They also learned a couple of lessons in the game that knocked us out of the finals. They went 4 games without a loss. Good Job! Thank you Coach Melissa, Coach Jeremy and Coach Simon for all your hard work and dedication to the girls!!!
