Curriculum
Summary
Capital Athletic Soccer Academy (CASA) wants to build a true club where the players and coaches belong to the club and the club belongs to them in contrast to the usual case where the team belongs to a coach and there is a loose affiliation of teams that is called a “club.” The intent is to help youngsters become creative independent thinking players that can adapt to the demands of the game. CASA has instituted a coaching method that is learned from well established national and international coaching programs. While the emphasis at the youngest ages is teaching technique, we still want them to learn to make simple decisions independently. Multiple opportunities to play small games will provide ample opportunities for coaches to coach and players to experiment and improvise. As the players grow older they will be coached using many methods including Technical and Tactical Functional Training, Group Tactical Games and actual game situations.
