Who will be the coach? All coaches are listed on the Club Web site along with their coaching credentials. Coach staff is subject to change. The Club is committed to providing the highest quality of coaching but the coach is not tied to a team. Coaches will attend tryouts and the team registration meeting.
How much does it cost? An approximate cost is outlined in the team budget form and can vary from team to team based on age, level of play, fundraising and parent involvement. Costs increase as player’s age increases because more travel and tournaments are expected. For the 2008 season, the base rate is approximately $1000.00 per U9-U10 players and $1200.00 for U11-U17 (excluding apparel, tournament fees, and travel expenses.) The U8 player cost is $300 and the U18 player are funded by the U18 Academy.
How much travel is involved? Travel can vary from team to team. It is the Club’s philosophy that the youngest teams should limit any travel and the older teams should only consider traveling if it fits the teams overall goals. All team schedules are reviewed by our Technical Director.
What can I expect from my player? You can expect that every child that enters our program will receive quality and professional instruction from playing the game and tutoring. High school aged players can receive college placement assistance. Player development is first and foremost in our minds, and we go to great lengths to assure each child is receiving the proper training to develop the basic skills of the game and, as they get older, a more in-depth understanding of the game.
